Can I just say how much of a pleasure it was to have your plumber Anthony visit our home today. He was kind, knowledgeable and very attentive with his work. I was very happy with his service to the point I wanted to write this review. He was able to figure out where our main bathroom leak was from even though we had 3 other plumbers come out before him to have a look.
The service he provided was fast, easy and answered all my questions I had concerns with. Even though the job couldn’t be fixed on the day it was amazing how quick he found out where the leak was coming from.
Please commend his efforts, I would have him back in a heartbeat.

I had a blocked drain and couldn’t use my bathroom or laundry after coming home from 4 months in hospital. Jackson came out at 5pm on a Saturday with no issues at all. He had a full on day but still had no issues fixing my problem that was unblocking the drain. Very impressed and very appreciative. Not once did he have an issue doing it. Thank you.

Absolutely fantastic. Rang 3 plumbers late in the day for laundry sink and taps leaks. They called me back first thing and the plumber was here by 9 as promised. Quick, efficient, friendly and great explanations all with a very reasonable price. All done and gone and still no call back from the other two plumbers. Keep doing what you are doing you ar emo new go to Plumber.

Had a really positive experience with this plumbing service. One plumber came promptly to diagnose a leak in my apartment – he was polite, professional, and quick to find the problem. The next day, another team member came to fix it. He did a great job, was efficient, and left the place clean and tidy.

Had the guys around from Capital Plumbing this morning to fix a leaking pipe, whilst here the guys checked over the remainder of the pipes and taps. Very thorough and really nice, helpful guys.

While the plumbers from Capital Plumbing did a great job fixing our gas leak and were very professional, the billing process was a nightmare.
We were significantly overcharged for labor. The main repair work took about 33 minutes, and attaching a chain took another 9 minutes, totaling around 42 minutes of actual work. However, we were billed for an additional 75 minutes of labor ($225 on top which appeared from nowhere). The initial verbal indication of cost was "a couple of hundreds," but the final bill started over $400, then went to $680, and after a stressful back-and-forth with the office, settled at $593, which we paid under duress. Most of the extra time the team was on-site involved waiting for them to retrieve a chain, preparing paperwork, and confusing discussions about the fluctuating bill. We have security footage to back up our timeline. Very disappointed with the lack of transparency and accuracy from the office/billing side, which caused significant distress.

We’re genuinely sorry to hear you felt the billing process was frustrating — that is never the experience we want for our clients. However, there are a few important details we’d like to clarify for transparency:
When your partner, Sergiy, called to book the job, we clearly explained our rates and pricing structure up front. While we carry a wide range of materials in our vehicles, we unfortunately cannot carry every part for every situation — in this case, a part needed to be sourced.
Our internal time-tracking confirms we were on site for the duration charged. You mentioned having security footage, and we’ve respectfully asked multiple times for a copy to help investigate your concerns and improve our service if needed — but we’ve never received it.
We also worked hard to resolve this with you, we accepted multiple payments across four different cards and cash to make it easier for you despite the time and compliance requirements involved.
It’s also important to note that as licensed gas fitters, once we work on a gas system, we are legally obligated to either leave it fully compliant or disconnect and issue a defect notice. This is not our choice, but a legal requirement for the safety of your home and family.
We regret that you felt distressed by the process, and while we may not agree with every point raised, we always welcome constructive feedback and are committed to constant improvement.

The office staff were more than helpful and the tradesman turned up on time. The young men that came to our house could not have been more helpful and polite. Explained everything that he did clearly and was clean and cleaned up after he completed the task. Very professional business and very reasonable with the cost to get the work done.

Response from the owner:Hi Philip, I am sorry you feel this way but lets get the facts straight please. We did not propose to install 3 meters of pipe but put forward a solution that would solve your water seepage problem which you could accept or decline but I know that with our solution there would be no further problems. Our proposal was to eliminate water penetrating through the footings and wall into your laundry. For this we proposed to excavate down to the footings to expose them and the brickwork at the back and side of the property to allow for these areas to be cleaned and then waterproofed. Once this had dried we would slot 100mm pipe and wrap in GEO fabric so that this would catch all the water run off and seepage in the ground stopping it from entering your home. This would then be backfilled with drainage gravel and then the excess spoil would be removed from site.
So yes, you may have did something for $100 but clearly it is not what we were doing to solve the problem you had.

I called capital to fix a leak they did a bypass that cost $1050.00. But there was still a leak coming from the same spot. I called them back and they said there was a leak in the other pipe they wanted another $1050.00 to fix that. I am not a plumber that’s why I called them to fix the problem. Be careful with this company they will rip you off. I have to now fix the other pipe and fix the holes they left in my wall.
Response from the owner:Hi Fred, Yes there is another leak in a similar area but as you know and we explained is that the first leak that was located by leak detection was on the hot pipe and this is what we have bypassed due to it running into concrete. Now this other leak is coming from the cold pipe that runs with the hot pipe. You were there when leak detection attended so you would understand how it works so I understand your fustration but no matter what you would need to have both of these pipes bypassed and it would cost more than just bypassing one of them. We are more than willing to help you out with this and work out a discount as well so please give our office a call to discuss further and see how we can come to a solution you are happy with.
Just for the record we do not rip anyone off and with our vast experience we work with facts and provide the best solution we can to help everyone out that has a plumbing issue. We cannot see into walls or concrete floors so when you find one pipe leaking until that is fixed there is no way to locate another leak in the same spot. Anyway I will leave it with you and hope to hear from you to help out.

Called capital plumbing Southport for a water leak call out fee $230 put a hole in roof and done nothing said it was coming from shower and have to re do waterproofing quoted $7800 called another plumber found the leak under the vanity unit , Big difference from waterproofing the to a leak in pipe charged $315 and fixed the leak.Capital did not refund call out fee , left hole in my roof and sent over the quote. Response from the owner:Good morning Priyarmn, I am sorry you feel like we did not receive the service you wanted from us but to clarify we do not have a call out fee, our plumber was onsite for nearly an hour and he pressure tested the shower combination which passed and then proceeded to do a flood dye test on the shower tray. Green dye was used so when our plumber cut the hole under neath the shower which already was water damaged due to the leak he saw a slight green drip from the pipework from the shower. The only way there could be a green drip was if the shower tray was leaking. We fix and guarantee our shower repairs because we know they are done to last. I wish you all the best and thank you for the feedback.
