Very disappointing experience from start to finish. The initial response was friendly and helpful, and I was quoted $523 to replace a toilet cistern. I provided multiple photos beforehand, clearly showing the brand and the cistern that needed to be replaced. As professionals, I would have expected them to check availability and advise me of any stock issues or recommend a suitable alternative before sending someone out. Instead, they arrived, removed the old cistern and left it sitting next to my outside bin. I was then charged $480 for the visit and work completed, despite the original quote being $523 for the replacement. To make matters worse, I was subsequently sent another invoice for nearly $1,000 to replace the entire toilet. The communication and handling of the job were extremely disappointing. If there were issues with sourcing the replacement cistern, this should have been identified and communicated before the appointment, particularly when I had already provided photos and the relevant information. I certainly did not expect to be left with a removed toilet cistern sitting beside my bin and unexpected charges approaching $1,500. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I cannot recommend this company and will not be leaving a positive review.

Had the misfortune of a pipe blockage today, and contacted Capital Plumbing. The receptionist handled my query in a very professional manner, and had a plumber out here in just a few hours. The plumber cleared the blockage quickly and explained the problem clearly so it was easy to understand. Top marks to you both, a pleasure to deal with you.

Very happy with the worked carried out fixing the broken pipe it was a trying day for Jake and his apprentice with showers around but they carried on I recommend Capital Plumbing who were prompt and professional Paul

Excellent service

I am sadly adjusting a once 5 star review to a 1 star. Service in the past was good, however, being con'd into buying a new dishwasher when all I needed was a new hose has left a very bitter taste in my mouth. Have asked for a refund for poor workmanship, and have had no reply. Have had to report the issue to ACCC which is disappointing.

Nightmare to deal with admin and billing teams - quoted for a job that they knew we needed turned around ASAP, yet took 4 days to receive a quote. Quote was not itemised and when prompted was send the below ‘itemised’ quote. Poor quality communication and lack of transparency UPDATE: received another quote from another business - $1200. Shameful! UPDATE 5/6: it’s the fact you reply to this review and then delete it - rather than picking up the phone to a potential customer that had a poor experience to learn from it to me 🤷🏻‍♀️
