I am sadly adjusting a once 5 star review to a 1 star. Service in the past was good, however, being con'd into buying a new dishwasher when all I needed was a new hose has left a very bitter taste in my mouth. Have asked for a refund for poor workmanship, and have had no reply. Have had to report the issue to ACCC which is disappointing.

Ben from Capital Plumbing attended my property today to fix a broken down pipe under decking that was hard to reach. Ben went the extra mile to complete the job which was great. Nightmare to deal with admin and billing teams - quoted for a job that they knew we needed turned around ASAP, yet took 4 days to receive a quote. Quote was not itemised and when prompted was send the below ‘itemised’ quote. Poor quality communication and lack of transparency
UPDATE: received another quote from another business - $1200. Shameful!
UPDATE 5/6: it’s the fact you reply to this review and then delete it - rather than picking up the phone to a potential customer that had a poor experience to learn from it to me 🤷🏻♀️

We attended the property and provided a free onsite assessment before preparing a detailed written quotation. While we do not itemise every individual fitting, screw, metre of pipe and labour component, our quotations clearly outline the proposed scope of works, inclusions, exclusions and total cost. We also provided a labour and materials breakdown upon request.
We appreciate that obtaining multiple quotes is an important part of making an informed decision. However, we are unable to comment on another contractor's pricing, as we have not seen their quotation and do not know what scope, materials, exclusions, warranties or workmanship standards have been allowed for.

We just had Capital Plumbing do work at our place for the third time in a year .. old property we only bought last year has had a few surprises 🫤
From my initial contact with the office ladies it was an absolute pleasure!! The office team are so professional, patient and efficient!

Had to call for after hours service when a pipe burst under my kitchen sink. They were quick to send someone out, Callum was friendly and efficient. Hopefully I don’t need them again, but if I do I wouldn’t hesitate to use them!

Highly recommend Callum and gis business! He not only was really fast and good at his job as a plumber he was super friendly. My busy 5 year old son couldnt leave him alone yet he was very professional but also took the time to be kind and friendly which you dont offer see with a busy plumber. Hired by our rental agency, due to our move in day being a Friday prior to public holiday and no hot water pressure throughout the home; they phoned and confirmed arrival of someone within 15 mins. The young fellow was in and out, changed the valve in 15mins. He was polite and jovial, love a contractor with personality. 13 out of 10 recommend. We were keen for hot showers after moving day and the team saved us.

Had the misfortune of a pipe blockage today, and contacted Capital Plumbing. The receptionist handled my query in a very professional manner, and had a plumber out here in just a few hours.
